Every year, JSMAC offers a three-week-long Health Supervisor Ongoing Training Seminar, in cooperation with Sempo Tokyo Takanawa Insurance Hospital, Yokohama/Osaka Seamen’s Insurance Hospital and Yokohama/Kobe Ekisaikai Hospital. The seminar is designed to provide those planning a career as an onboard Health Supervisor with advanced education and training.

Among other subjects, the seminar teaches attendees about emergency clinical procedures for use at sea.
